Rehabphysio is a Private Physiotherapy practice based in Abergavenny, South Wales. We provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation within your own home. Our aim is to help you achieve your goals and optimize your potential; whether that be returning to sport, returning to functional activities, improving your mobility or just increasing your confidence in managing your condition. We provide support and encouragement to help you get through your recovery.
We provide a very ‘hands on’ approach to rehabilitation.Treatments aim to work on restoring normal movement and function, reducing pain, improving range of movement
A Physiotherapist will provide a thorough assessment looking at your physical and functional problems. From the assessment the Physiotherapist will then explain their findings and aim to make a diagnosis of your problems. They will provide advice, demonstrate exercises you can practice and formulate a treatment plan working towards your goals of recovery.
Treatments available include Joint Mobilisation,Soft tissue massage, Postural advice, Balance re-education, Re-educating normal movement patterns, Stretching, Individualised exercise programme provision, Taping and strapping, Strengthening,Improving standing and quality of walking, Developing gross and fine motor skills, Offering guidance and advice to family and carers, and Hydrotherapy.
Rehabphysio provides a very pragmatic approach to treatment using the best techniques and understanding of Normal movement to be able to optimise each individual’s potential.

We provide a physiotherapy service to areas of Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Raglan, Usk, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Brynmawr, Abertillery, Blaenavon, Ebbw vale, Pontrillias, and Grosmont. Other locations will be considered on individual case basis.
We provide Physiotherapy within your home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Most evenings and occasional weekend bookings by arrangement.
